Roush Yates Engines sponsors RacinBoys live broadcast from Western World

Tucson, AZ - November 19, 2009
By: RacinBoys.com

Roush Yates Engines has been named the title sponsor of this weekend’s RacinBoys.com audio webcast of the Kronik Energy Western World Championships in Tucson, Arizona. Live coverage of the prestigious Lucas Oil Sprint Car Dirt Series event begins at 7:00 p.m. CST. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, November 19, 20, and 21.

Roush Yates Engines has made a huge commitment to 360 Sprint car racing with the recent development of the new Ford lightweight ASCS compliant engine. It was announced in July that Saturday Western World winners powered by Roush Yates will be rewarded with a new free engine.

“We are proud to partner with Roush Yates Engines for our Western World coverage,” said Scott Traylor of RacinBoys.com. “For a company of this stature to become involved with the ASCS is another reason why 360 racing is on the rise and is the future of Sprint Cars in the United States.”

Jeremy Anderson from Roush Yates Engines will be at USA Raceway this week to talk with competitors about the new power plant and will be a guest on the live RacinBoys.com webcast.

The new Roush Yates Ford race engine will be on display at the IMIS show Indianapolis, Dec 2-3, and also at the PRI Exhibition Orlando, Florida, Dec 10-12.

Traylor and partner Kirk Elliott anchor coverage from Tucson with Michael Wilson providing the call of both wing and non-wing action. Scotty Cook will conduct interviews from the pits and victory circle.

Sunday’s Lucas Oil ASCS National Awards Banquet at Old Tucson Studios will also be audio streamed live on RacinBoys.com. Watch the home page for start time.

Who will be running their engines?

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Jon Stanbrough is driving the #1 non wing car owned by Jack and JJ Yaley with Roush Yates Ford power.

Charles Davis Jr is driving the #50 non wing car of Massy Motorsports powered by Roush Yates.

Both cars are really fast. There is a good chance that a new $35,000 engine will be given away tomorrow evening!

That could work out to $50,000 in cash and prizes to the winner of this race!
