ok this is the post season for the weekly SFS Fantasy League. There will be 2 threads. one for friday picks - one for sunday picks. As usual - no editing of any picks in either thread after 7pm racenight. Both nights are scored together - and every team is in a sub-group with 3 other teams. All the 1st place in current standings will vie for 1st thru 4th. All those in 2nd will go for positions 5-8. And so on all the way down to the 10's. This way everyone has a finishing position in the 2009 SFS Fantasy League. Again - both nights are scored TOGETHER. So if you have a 14 friday - and a 27 sunday - you would have a 41. Oh yeah - any ties will be decided by total season points.

Lastly, I can't post anything after friday night, like pts. going into sunday - as I am leaving at the crack of dawn saturday for the OU vs. BYU game at Jerry Jones stadium. I won't be able to really post anything until sunday night/monday. If I have time and energy - I may perhaps post some stuff after the game saturday - but doubt it. With this being the postseason for the SFS Fantasy League - I do hope all 40 teams participate - but if not - no worries - every team has 3 opponents this weekend instead of 1 Best of luck to everyone (except my fellow 2nd place opponents lol). Reminder - The 2009 Shootout is a completely seperate entity from the weekly SFS Fantasy League. The Shootout is a completely open exhibition style tournament - that goes both this weekend and Winter Nationals. I encourage EVERYONE - in this league and out - to play The 2009 Shootout.

I am sincerely thankful and grateful to everyone of you for making this a very fun and competitive sophmore season for the SFS Fantasy League. I have a blast doin' this - and as long as you guys and gals do as well - it will be my pleasure to continue doing it. Hope to have everyone back next year for Season 3.

Is Joe Jr going to be running in the hog wagon this weekend? JD told me after the wreck the other night that they were done. Hopefully they found some needed parts and can get back on the track this weekend.

J.D. was a little WIGGED out Friday night, as it all literally come crashin down, might have spoke a bit prematurely mIn because with the "Never Give Up" attitude and motivation of Joe Wood Sr. , David Brewer and Ray and the whole Wood Racing Crew and a most important item of a rearend that is on loan from those folks , we will get to circle SFS oval again and with help from folks like James Lenhart and Randy Hilbers and Charley Ford and Joe Sr. and Ray who was gracious to give up a Sat. and Sun. to help me get bent items fixed and replaced with items that are not bent, She won't be pretty at all got an12 year OLD ARP Wing on top with an UGLY paint job and she (Chassis) is a bit tweaked and got a scarred up hood with a hole in er , lookin for a BIG Band Aid this week with the word "OUCH" on it to apply to cover the hole in the hood and "Millie" the powerplant still hiccups on the top end. and all that said we will be there.

I guess it is probably a good thing we did'nt win this Championship as I had plans to run in only my tennis shoes and Skivvies down the front straightaway after Sundays show a hollarin "Mama I'm goin fast" just like Ricky Bobby did in Talledega Nights in a all night celebration/party , IF we would have won the pts.deal, but it is a long shot at best and it has saved my wife a lot of embarrasement as well my crew and friends and Joe Wood Sr. and his crew and it probably saved me from getting arrested by the OKC PD that are on the premises for indscent exposure and then having to register as a sex offender for just celebrating a Points Championship but anyway , will be there a give it our best shot and see what happens.

Want tell Lee Walther if he happens to read this to come by my trailer Friday or Sunday night , need to say "Thank You" in person for what you did last Friday night me and Jannie appreciate it.

Like I told you on the phone today JD, it ain't over til the last checkered drops & some fat lady sings!!!! Two races & 70 points ain't nothing man! Keep your head held high, it can be done. With the season You, Janie, Lil Joe & crew are having, don't count yourself out of it yet. Been one hell of a run this year & end it on a Championship high!!!!
