ATTENTION RACE FANS....
If you're going to be in the Knoxville, Iowa, area on Tuesday, August 11th, please stop by the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum for an open reception.
At 1 p.m. CST, Mario Andretti, Donny Schatz and STP's Jonathan Paluga will be on-hand to unveil the No. 15 STP/Andretti Tribute Car that Schatz will drive in this year's Knoxville Nationals event.
The special paint scheme, which will commemorate Andretti's 1969 Indianapolis 500 victory in an STP-themed car, will carry the distinctive 'hunting red' color and gold wheels reminiscent of Andretti's winning machine.
At 1:30 p.m. CST, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum will host an open reception for a meet-and-greet with Andretti and Schatz. The reception is open to the public and will take place between 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. CST.
