Stan Meissner of RACEMN.COM brings us this Pitside Report from Thursday of the Elko Dirt Nationals. Stan talked to Midwest Modified drivers Allen Gessell Jr. and Wednesday night winner Rob Caho Jr. as well as Elko Power Stock driver Dillon Sellner. IMCA Sprint Car drivers Neil Stevens, A.J. Stevens, Brett Gelder, Wednesday night winner Bradley Lund and Jennifer Eriksen give their observations about racing at Elko and Jennifer talks about her appearance on the KQ Morning show. Stan also got an opportunity to talk to Bob Allen the promoter of the Arlington and Redwood Speedways.
Stan Meissner of RACEMN.COM brings us a pitside report from the IRA Sprint Cars and USMTS Modified show at the Elko Dirt Nationals. Stan talks to IRA drivers Scott Biertzer, “Smokin Joe” Symoens, Donny Goeden, IRA points leader Billy Balog, and Minnesota driver John Sernett. Former World of Outlaws driver and recent winner of the Knight Before the King’s Royal, Terry McCarl, tells us about his decision to follow a part time Outlaw schedule and about going with his dad to the North Starr Speedway in Blaine when he was a youngster. USMTS Modified driver Tim Donlinger lives an hour and a half from Elko but this was his first visit to the facility. Tim gives his impressions of the temporary dirt track and the defending “Hunt” champion tells us how his season is going so far this year. Jason Krohn made the switch from racing IMCA Stock Cars at Jackson to Modifieds five years ago and talks about his success as a USMTS driver.
