Stan,
I heard rumblings in the pits @ Cedar Lake that there may be problems with the Elko dirt venture. Have you heard anything?

I haven't talked to anybody about it recently. The last I heard Steve Sinclair was going to stop there to get an idea how covering the track with dirt was going to work. I never got an opportunity to ask him how it looked.
Aside from that my Elko connections haven't said anything about it. The drivers I talked to are excited about it so they'll be disappointed if it does not take place.

Hard to believe this rumor since Elko has banners and posters up all over the place promoting this event.

If anything changes with the IRA at Elko it's going to be all over this board for a couple of weeks.
