Can anyone help with a Jelly Wilhelm question? Were the red 99 t-body sprinter, the orange 24 super and the yellow 99 ("The Missle"wink all spring-front cars? Did Jelly build any four-bars? Thanks!

Jelly built several 4-bar cars. The missle started as a coilover and was changed to a 4-bar. In 1974 he built a 4-bar car for Leon Boomershine of Tulsa, Jay Woodside drovei t in'74, then they sold it to Ted Bacon and he drove it for several seasons. He built an identical car of this for Jerry Douglas and I think mabee one for Larry Madden. I am sure that he built several others. I think that the 99 coupe was a 4-bar. Luther was It?

I think it was a cross spring front and a cross bar rear. I saw it the first time Labor Day in 65 & would bet $$ it was a spring.....Luther
