Roger Rager was born in Nebraska and began racing Karts at five years old. Roger got his start in Sprint Cars during the final years of the IMCA Fairgrounds circuit. His lengthy career includes a Knoxville Raceway track championship and countless wins in Sprints with and without wings under a variety of sanctions. Roger has also driven Silver Crown Cars, Midgets and Indy Cars including his 1980 entry that led a portion of the the Indianapolis 500 that year. These days Roger Rager stays busy tending to his resort and campground in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. Stan Meissner of RACEMN.COM and DIRTCAST.COM had the opportunity to talk to Roger about his induction into the National Sprint Car Hall Of Fame, his Indy Car career as well as a variety of racing topics.
