Not sure on expected car count, NOSA has had several rainouts lately so it is hard to say how many will travel, we will have 2 cars, Chad Chenoweth will drive the other.
We have a few local hotels, and the fairgrounds has a nice campground to stay at, if you need information on the both let me know. The fairgrounds is within walking distance of the track.
Hope to see you there, it should be a great night of racing!

The track's website lists a handful of hotels.

I've not yet been to the track. Do they generally put on a good show when they have sprints there?

The fairgrounds is the state fairgrounds so there is a lot of room for parking haulers ect. electrical hookups and showers. http://www.sdstatefair.com/ you can call them 8-5pm M-F 800-529-0900 for camping information.
swensod is correct on the motels, the racetrack is located on the corner of Market Rd & Lincoln Ave. So the Traverlers Motel & Top Hat Motel are very close and probably the most economical for an overnight stay. Crossroads Hotel & Convention Center is uptown and would have difficult parking for a hauler. Super 8 and Best Western are on the south side of town on Hwy 37, and both would have decent parking.
We have been racing the Huron show for many years, Orville puts on a great show, the track is in very good shape. Track parking is outside the pits, so no unloading, pit members have a grandstand that they can sit in and watch the races, and during the feature we all go down in the middle of the track with our gear.
Orville is very strick on his rules, maybe one of the best run racetracks in South Dakota, he runs a tight ship, gets the races going and done. He usually has one to two sprint shows a year, so there are some changes he could make but all in all it is a well run night.
Our shop is right across the street from the track and the campground, if you need anything let us know. Are you coming from a long ways? email me and I can give you our contact numbers to get ahold of us [email protected].
Hope to see you there.

Just a reminder:
Bonus payout for the top 3 360 Sprints in the feature event. $1750 to win and $300 to start the main event. Saturday May 23rd. Make the trip to Huron, then follow the NOSA tour to Huset's on Sunday and stay for another night of racing on Monday at Huset's. Sounds like a great Memorial Day weekend.
Hope to see you at the track!
