I attended my first race of the season last night at Cedar Lake and have posted the photos to the gotomn.com photo gallery. As always I'll be posting photos for each and every race I attend this season so you can assume that there will be something new in there just about every week. I think it gets kind of redundant to announce it whenever I post photos because that's what the photo gallery is there for so don't expect an announcement after every photo session.

This season will be the 11th year that my column (and photos) will appear in the Midwest Racing Connection so check it out when you're at Cedar Lake and the Kopellah UMSS races. Also, if you happen to get Hawkeye Racing News you'll see my photos in there as well. The current issue included my interview with Ron Bernhagen and several of my Sprint Car photos to accompany the interview. I plan to continue my ten year association with Flat Out Illustrated, some of you might have seen my Donny Schatz photo and Jerry Richert Memorial feature in a recent issue.

In addition to all that I'm being billed as the UMSS photographer and I'll be helping out with the UMSS newsletter. Recently I joined the interview team at racemn.com and my first two interviews are posted so give them a listen if you haven't done so already.

Last but not least this will also be the 11th year for the gotomn.com website. Not many racing website can make the claim "online since '99" but that's how long it's been there.

In 1996 I sold my fishing boat, bought my first personal computer and had my first racing website (under a different URL) online in 1997. I have always said that as long as I'm having fun and can afford to do this out of pocket I'll keep doing it. So far it's still fun, I'm still getting the bills paid and the non-race-fan-wife hasn't complained too much.

By the way, did I mention that I posted some pictures? wink

P.S. I should have made it clear that the reason I mentioned all these media outlets is not to bring attention to myself but to let you know so that you can support the media outlets and series I contribute to if possible.
