IBRA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

IBRA to hit the great outdoors of Northern Minnesota with the Justice Brothers Frostbite 50!

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (February 22) – – The IBRA (International BarStool Racing Association) stormed the state of Minnesota last November with a debut event in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota that pitted top drivers in the motorsports world against each other for--get this-- $10,000! All done on a barstool in a small hockey rink that the local high school team calls home. Since then, the IBRA also hit Springfield, Illinois, and put on another rock solid show that saw CJ Lowder, a local arena cross racer and last minute entrant, take home $10,000 dollars in one night, without owning any of the racing equipment!

The IBRA hits the Brainerd, Minnesota, region like a snowstorm of epic proportions on March 3rd and will pit another group of quality racers against each other for the big bucks. This time, it even gets crazier as for the first time in the history of the IBRA, the race is being held outdoors on frozen Gull Lake! Fifty laps on the lake for a monster sum of cash!

The Justice Brothers Frostbite 50 takes place on March 3rd as part of the Frozen Fore Golf Tournament, an event that raises money for various charities in the greater Brainerd area. Along with organizers of the Frozen Fore, the IBRA has put together an afternoon show that starts at 5:00 p.m. that Saturday and will be contested until around 8:00 p.m.. The winner could walk away with $10,000 and all of the good times that will commence with the victory!

Gillund Enterprises of Eden Prarie, Minnesota, is the sponsor of the Frostbite 50, one of four races in March for the IBRA, and has been a strong supporter of barstool racing from the start with IBRA and Rocket Manufacturing owner Rob Caho. “It is an event and not just a race,” stated Paul Gillund, General Manager of Justice Brothers. “The IBRA offers us the opportunity to mix in with our target market in the down time of winter and most of the drivers that we service will be at this event. I can't think of a better avenue to advertise.”

Action for the Justice Brothers Frostbite 50 starts on March 3rd on Gull Lake north of Brainerd, Minnesota. Maps and directions for the race can be found on www.barstoolraces.com. Advance tickets can be purchased on the web at the price of $15.00 per adult, $7.00 per student 12-17, and $5.00 each kid 11 & Under. Tickets the day of the event at $ 20.00, $10.00 and $7.00 respectivly. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. with racing to start at 5:00 p.m. The IBRA has also added a “Play Day” for March 4th that will open the ice to Rocket BarStool owners and interested parties. More info on Play Day is available by calling 612-353-7010.

The Quarterdeck Resort and Boathouse Eatery is the official host lodge of the Justice Brothers Frostbite 50 and is offering special "Racer and Spectator Specials" to interested parties. Call 1-800-950-5596 or visit www.quarterdeckresort.com for more information.
