Lance has been having some bad some bad luck this year i read that he is building his own cars this year has anyone talked to him at the races to find out what is going wrong i read on an other web site that they talking about going back to maxium or jei cars it seems a little early to give up on his own chassis

If you want the right answer, you are better off talking to Lance directly and not rely on the message boards.....wink

Can't speak on behalf of anyone, but it's likely not the track conditions, they have been phenomenol so far this year with the hard charger at Lincoln passing 12-15 cars each race. He's not the only one struggling, I think this largest # of big names running in PA in quite some time, parity has ruled.

Maybe he should run with the All Stars again to pay the bills until he sorts out the new car enough to be competitive in PA?

Lord, I apologize...

I think its cool he's building his own chassis makes me wonder about his own motors and his own tires and if he forges metal out of his backyard or possibly upstairs at his house and if he wonders about dinosaurs and if he ever types out everything in one long sentence or not

Honestly... it's interesting to see more chassis than the typical Maxim/Eagle being used. The KPC or the A.R.T. chassis are other examples of doing something different. I dig it. Hopefully Dewease stays after it with is own stuff.

It was interesting reading an old Open Wheel magazine the other day... about Gary Stanton unleashing the "new" Mopar on the WoO. He went with a Maxim chassis, goodyear tires, proshocks, etc. to eliminate the variables that would make it difficult. Proven pieces eliminate the confusion about what is working vs. what isn't. He wanted to run his own chassis... but decided against it.

Food for thought.

If Lance Dewease made so much money running with the All Stars he would be running with the All Stars again this year. He won more races in Pa. than he did with the All Stars ,,,,,, I sure hope he gets it turned towards the better though .Lance will win some races this year.
