Anyone know who he is, where he races, or what he raced? On dirtvision they said he is a 16 year old from West Va, but that was all I got. Regardless, he's made the show both nights at Volusia so far, which is pretty impressive for a high school kid in my book.

I took notice of that feat also. Pretty impressive to make the "A" main the last two nights. I couldn't find much informatin on him. Wonder if he is running with the All Stars all season?

Ran in Ohio last year. Skyline, Lakeville etc and a few other tracks. Vienna WV is reported to be the home.

I am pretty sure he is from the long list of Conley's that have run late models for years. I think it is impressive as well for him to make both shows.

I talked to his grandfather in the stands at East Bay. Cale's dad was one of the more well known heart surgeon's on the east coast. They are loaded from what it sounds like.

He has ran a year or so of 410 racing. His dad used to run some ASA stuff (Yale Conley) I believe is his name. He ran decent in 360 last week at East Bay, and has continued that onto Volusia

My parents were talking last year about him making the A main at KC Raceway in Ohio with the Outlaws. My mom spent some time talking to his grandfather who was really excited about him. He didn't have a bad showing at the Chili Bowl either.

We spent some time talking to him and his grandfather at KC before an Outlaws show last summer. Nice young man. Made the A main that night against the big boys and we were very impressed. Ran his line, didn't do anything stupid to mess with anyone else's race. Just an impressive young driver. I told my husband then that I thought we would be seeing more good things from this young man. He certainly didn't let us down at the Chili Bowl. He held his own there as well.
Bet we see more from him in the future!

The young kid has Fisher Racing Engines, and has Charlie(Fisher) and his son James coaching him. Thats quite the combo.

At the all star show at Hilltop during speedweek last year they said he was 13 or 14. The next week at Attica he was magically 16. His dad used to race. Looks like he is doing a lot better than last year so far.

Anyone have any pictures of his face, just wondering if I've ever seen him before -- heard that name before. Thanks!

I believe his stats for the week include qualifying for 4 of 6 features and 2 of 3 WoO Dash's in a stacked field of cars every night.

I was able to talk to him last week. He is a nice young man and he wants to race where the money is. We have a picture up on our site. We wish him the best. www.pushinthecushin.com

he raced like a veteran on a very slick surface - you would never have known that he was so young...under control and very impressive - the car was set up to run anywhere on the track.

Mr. Conley has indeed been racing out of the Fisher Racing engine shop starting last year. He participated in the Kenyon Midgets before that. This will be his second year in a 410. Congrats to Charlie & James for putting this kid in some 1st class equipment to show what he can do. What an accomplishemnt on a ninth place finish last night and for making 4 of the last 6 shows! Keep up the good work guys and best of luck for the rest of 2009.
later,
Shoes
