I'm sorry you and others had issues a DB!!!!!
Are you sure you want to ask such a question?
Remember OKCFan was ( ALL FOR DRY SLICK TRACK) when I brought up the question of poor track prep and wondered why it went dry too fast at their Winter Nationals. ( See BLACK ICE at LS Winter Nationals). The Post was hit from every direction backing OKCFan's assumtion that Dry Slick was the prefered trck condition. I on the other hand prefered a wet Fast tacky track at LS over any other at LS, my racing experence and track knowledge and promotion was never taken into account.
Then after the SFS winter nationals OKCfan Flipped Flopped and sang the praises of the Wet Tacky FAST track at SFS. It seemed everyone fell in step right behind him on the subject.
Then you bring up DB!!! Well you know it is operated by the same folks who run LS and SFS?
I hope you get a discussion on this, as the opinion and in formation gained from it would be very valuable to some of us who actually raced and worked with these and other tracks.

We raced SS Friday night & ASCS Sat. night, track stayed a little tacky & FAST both nights. Turned a cople cars over, mostly from being too hooked up. Great racing & heard no complaints about track conditions all week-end.
Good racin; no complaints here!

I'm not questioning your knowledge, but am curious what class that you raced in and when and where were you a promoter?

You might be! Then again...maybe your not!!!
With the hyper-liberal BO crowd circling like Vulture's looking for "Fantasy Wreck's" , " Free Rides" and "Cheap Pit Passes" I will not have my resume hacked and spun into ridiclaus rants.
Especially since they wont Vet their own Presidential Candidate, but jumped like a pack of wild urban dogs on a Plumber!!!
You may ask again after Nov. 5th, via an e-mail and I will advise you on your questions

Obviously, you do not know anything about my political views or you would not have written that liberal nonsense in your post.
I will say that your answer sounded like most politicians. Rather than giving a direct response to the question, you totally changed the subject.
You were the one who brought up your qualifications in your post and I just politely asked you what they were since you have criticized other people on this board for their views without being qualified. Not that it takes a doctrate to figure out what conditions are suitable on a racetrack.

Sorry to Ruffle your Feathers.
My intent wasn't an attack!!!!!!!!!!
I simply voiced my position on your question. Obviously I hit a nerve or you would have accepted my answer and moved on. That wasn't the intent of your question, was it my friend? But...hey...why waist a chance to muck it up !!!! Right !!!!!
You didn't get the answer you designed the question to retrieve, so move on, get over it.
I withdraw my offer to discuss that resume with you via- e-mail.
Sir if anyone had to qualify to post on a forum, there would be a lot of in- active forums.
Lack of Qualifications or Knowledge of a subject has never, ( AND I REPEAT), has never stopped anyone from posting an opinion on any public forum that I'm on. That sir is what makes them so interesting.
On the criticization issue. I believe strongly that if you have an opinion and keep it to yourself, you hide and are afraid of getting in the game. On the other hand, if you have that same strong opinion, and believe it enough to expose it for all to view, then you should have the strength to withstand criticism of your views and involve yourself in civil discussion to defend your points of view without resorting to name calling and off topic diversions. Or in your words " Changing the subject".
You are right, it dont take no PHD to figure out dirt, but you do have to roll on it a few times and get a handful and sniff it and taste it as the wind blows it in your face, sometimes dig down with a poker to find the water from time to time, and even kick it to watch the under-layer move. Yeah its not a complete science, and every track is different, but the common denominator is the set up man, and his (or her) read as the race night progresses.

I guess the answer would be......ahhhhh....ahhhh YOU !!!!
Hee Hee, seem to have woke up a few sleepers!
I guess when one makes a valid point, all kinds of folks come to take a look......its such a rare thing!!!
I guess a conservative thinker is as rare as a civil response to a simple post.
Or maybe its that I express my opinion without fear of the offencive forum patrol bent on destruction of free public speech. .....Oh unless they agree with your speech, that is!!!

Stick to the subject of the thread my friend. If you can't answer a simple question without side stepping then...
Anyway I've heard that the entrance to the pits was all rutted up by the haulers off of 1 & 2. And most of the rollovers were caused by the ruts.

Little Donnie!! How you been? Glad your back on the ground.
All I have to do is show up and the Liberals go crazy. Fire them up!!! Hell they woke up pissed off, I just happen to be walking on the same sidewalk.... LOL
Kelly Flowers says hello, as do Toni and Kathy. Linda B wants you to stay in Lawton....whats with you two?? .LOL. Billy is in W.V.
As far as drivers go! If your talking about our local LS and CH, well maybe a few tips here and there would help out the kid......but let's not forget we won our 2008 Championship!! ...Old timer !!! without the benefit of your vast knowledge.....~....or official rulings.... LOL , he is a good kid and an excellent driver, if you want to help him , its discipline he needs more than anything! He should move on to sportmod( IMCA-) ,Mod, or to eastern short tracks. If not it will be his choice, but he needs to go ,not wait. As far as not waiting, we as a sponsorship group, have moved on to other race programs in 3 and maybe a 4th region for 2009. You ready to to roll for a few week-ends in Indiana and Ohio? There may be a ride for a ten race run.....LOL
It's not, or wasn't if anyone could drive on a dry track, that was never the issue. There is a certian element that twist, spins, and mis-quotes just about everything that is originally written and ignores the topics. It was about track prep and a possible mis-step in that prep. Never was about driving!! But.....oh well !!! You know how a story gets distorted by the time its told a few times!!!!
Oh well, give me a call sometime..( Lets do LoneStar ).Check with Mary, Mills, Daryle, or Brian for my cell or office number. Mary has my card from last week.
Later "Dude".......I learned that from OKcfan.....Dude!

i didnt flip flop anything mike - you take the pleasur of doing it for me........
i dont feel - nor stated - that dry slick was what i liked. in fact - i like the opposite most the times. but in truth - if your goign to claim my thoughts in the way you are - the in truth - i like dry tracks yeah - i like tacky tracks yeah ------- i just dont like em when they are either TOO DRY or TOO HEAVY. at lawton was too dry. you thought i was disagreeing with you. i was not - only saying that under the circumstances i understood the conditions. My Favorite tracks conditions were - YES at SFS last weeekend. a tab on the dry side friday but incredible racing. then pretty well over to the tacky side saturday. i liked the sat. track - that was the perfect track IMHO.
so no dude - shut up with the flip floppin and mincing my words. if you ever know (to use in an argument of course) what i really feel about em -------- dont ASSume - just ask!
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a
wouldchuck could chuck would

Do as I smithracer, just read what you want to read and ignore the rest as it isn't very newsworthy. That is until I get an email or a phone call with complaints - again.
