Why do you have your Nationals on the same date as SFS Winter Nationals ? cause that will make it tough to get any OKC cars there !!!

that is VERY true.
for proof - just look at the facts. SFS always has run their Winter Nationals the first weekend in October - like the 4th-5th-6th or whatever it fell on. he moved the winter nationals for all 3 of his tracks back a week. and yeah his schedule didnt come out until after the chili bowl.
if lanny would go as far as to put rule packages together to disuade sfs drivers to ever run outside of sfs ------- is it plausible to think he would not cross schedule as well?
i funkin hate that format lanny uses for winter nationals. it was fine and great back when the car count was much bigger. how many start in the friday A Mains? i guess it really doesnt make a difference if it is 16 or 20. hell 3 of the 5 classes cant even pull 20 cars total. and then on saturday it is just features........um.......... what 2 b mains and then 4 a mains and a factory stock hot lap session?
if creek would have ran what they had scheduled - i was considering it. ocrs wings on/wings off + all 3 ascs2 classes would in all likelihood be a better show than sfs winter nationals. but all of that been cancelled. ironically - the clan was planning cowtown and six flags this weekend - but that seems futile. even if that hurrican doesnt rain out the race - six flags on sunday would be a wash - so no point in making the trip. where this is pertinent is - the same weekend of sfs winter nationals ----- the ascs national tour will run cowtown. hmmmm.............not to mention ou/texas is that weekend.
whatever the ticket prices are - times it by 6-7 both nights and thats what lanny loses in PROFIT if my clan dont go. i know that doesnt mean anything to that little midget co-chili bowl promoting jackass - but I'm sure Bo Rawdon would be thrilled to see that same 6-7 - both nights! but who knows what that weekend has in store. still a month away.
sorry to hijack the thread - R. Gould would be glad to see the same 6-7 as well. there is something to be said for good promoters. i think Gould is Oklahoma's promoter of the year hands down. i never got to go this year - disappointed in myself for that - but just looking at the results every week and what MANY folks have said all year long - i dont think its even a question. lcs wint. nationals will be awesome no doubt. i'd love to see em - i just cant miss sprint cars to do it- with all due respect - just my thing (dont want to get blasted for liking the sprints lol). but i look forward to seeing great things from that track next year - as i think that isnt even in question either. still po'd to high heck for missin the SST show. got a call with a car count at racetime and immediately went into depression lol.
