12R Mod is Randy Golden, don't remember a 2 car being there tonight. There was a 12, Stacey Nailon. The Pro 27 was Brian Winter from Blanchard. There was a rumor floating around after the races that Steve Smith failed the "puff" check and was DQ'd.

Are you sure about Smith? If he didn't finish why would he get puffed? What's the rule on protesting now. Can you protest anyone that shows up that night and starts the feature? Kinda puzzling to me to read this.

No one was DQ'd. I heard they pulled heads on Brill and Smith and the "tech" man didn't know how to check them,so they let Brill check them.

Yup typical SFS...I bet they have a room full of tools that dad has made for them to check heads, yet they refuse (and always have) to use them.

Isn't that like letting someone check their own stuff? Here I will make you a tool to use. It fits mine but everyone else should be illegal.lmao

If its a go no go gauge and it won't fit in anyones stuff but yours wouldn't that prove that you were illegal in the first place? Why would someone make a tool to simplify the process if they were illegal in the first place and the track has a chance to check the tool on a brand new blank head that they have in the office? There is a big difference between being allowed to measure the cylinder and do you own calculations and making a standardized tool.

PS: Thanks for the push Friday night. It sounded like things were getting exciting behind me there. lol

PPS: (is that how you do that?) Congrats to Dad, Lee, and Sheldon on great runs!

I WAS THERE , AT THE INSPECTION. FIVE PROSTOCKS WERE PUFFED,THREE PUFFED LOWER THAN BRILL&SMITH. TECH OFFICIAL TOLD BRILL&GARY STEPHENS TO TEAR DOWN OR LOAD THE CARS. BOTH CARS WERE TORE DOWN AND BOTH CARS WERE FOUND TO BE LEGAL AT THAT TIME. THE BIG QUESTION IS WHY AFTER THE HEAT RACE DID BRILL STICK THE COMPLETE FRONT OF THE CAR INSIDE HIS TRAILER?? IT WAS IN THE TRAILER FOR ABOUT FORTY-FIVE MINUTES AND THE THE TEMP OUTSIDE WAS HOT.WAS IT SO NO ONE COULD SEE WHAT WAS BEING TAKEN OFF THE ENGINE?? AN INTAKE MANIFOLD COMES TO MIND IN ABOUT THAT AMOUNT OF TIME !

I was just jacking with you. Your dad made those tools while I was helping Neighbors to try and catch us cheating. Those were the good ole days. Your welcome for the push I don't mind helping out. Yeah I got in a little trouble from Reed. Guess he is the gate keeper now.lol

DAVID YOU WERE AMOST 100% PERCENT CORRECT. I WAS THERE AND WHAT REALLY HAPPENEND WAS BRILL MAY HAVE HELPED TECH HIS OWN STUFF BUT HE AND HIS CREW WERE TOLD BY THE OFFICALS TO LEAVE THE AREA AWAY FROM THE STEPHENS CAR.I NOTICED THAT NONE OF THE STEPHENS-SMITH CREW EVER WENT NEAR THE TWO BRILL CARS.WHY IS THAT? ALSO IT SHOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE IF ON CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY IF THE TWO BRILL CARS TRY TO TAKE OUT MR BEAN AND MR SMITH.I HOPE THAT THE OFFICIALS WILL PUT THEIR GLASSES ON DURING THE RACE, EVEN IF SOME OF THEM DO WORK FOR BRILLS SPEEDWAY .
