RaceFanRadio.com USAC Racing Show Features Star-Studded CRA Lineup MondayINDIANAPOLIS – A twist of California will make up the
USAC Racing Show from 8-10 p.m. EST (5-7 p.m. PST) Monday on
RaceFanRadio.com, with some of the top drivers competing for the
2007 USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series championship set to be guests alongside several other top West Coast racing personnel.
Tony Jones, Mike Spencer, Danny Sheridan and David Cardey hope they will wear the champion’s crown at the end of 2007, and they will talk with
USAC Racing Show Host Rob Klepper to discuss what they hope will happen over the next nine months.
Jones and Spencer were two of the hottest drivers in the second half of the 2006 season, vying for victories throughout and together, they totaled 10 feature wins during the year. The pair also split
“Perris Oval Nationals” preliminary victories as the CRA contingent romped the National drivers in the opening two nights of the prestigious event.
Sheridan and Cardey, in turn, competed for wins, but their battle continued even after the final checkered flag flew. The pair were engaged in a strong battle for the
CRA “Most Popular Driver” award, with
Sheridan taking the honors by less than 10 votes.
Joining the
CRA quartet are three other West Coasters who view the races from a different angle.
USAC Vice President of Western Operations Tommy Hunt will be a guest at the top of the second hour to talk about the 2007 Western season.
Steve Ostling, the new
Chief Steward for the CRA Sprinters, will talk about his new post.
Perris Auto Speedway Promoter Don Kazarian, who earned the
"2005 Race Organizer of the Year", is set to finish the show by talking about Perris’s role in USAC/CRA.
In addition,
LeeAnne Nash of
Lateral Syncing will talk about the new partnership between USAC and her company, the parent organization which launched
Screenza. Screenza is a program giving USAC fans the opportunity to have wallpapers, screensavers and schedules delivered to them daily. Nash will share some other ideas that USAC and Lateral Syncing are talking about to make USAC more marketable to its fans.
