Its way to quiet over here, heres a few of my ramdon thoughts so far this season.

Rain Rain Rain, when will the ASCS NP get a race in soon? I'm looking forward to I-90, just hope they don't take a long intermission to get line ups done.

I-90 gets rained out most of the time and Husets get there shows in. Sounds like 360 pay is as bad as ever but drivers continue to show up.

Husets 410 class is booming right now, who would have ever figured that. Dobmeier may have his hands full with all the competition. Nice to see Chad Meyer and Justin Henderson back weekly.

Neat to see Robbie Wolfgang driving a sprint car, how would you like to have one of the best as your coach?

Fuel prices........will they ever go down?

Kyle Busch.......holy $hit, that boy can drive and he's arragant and cocky. Nascar has a new poster boy. When will  Jr. win a race?

Rock Rapids wingless......will they make it? Why bother with a trophy dash? Give trophy  and the money to the feature winner. Who wants to take a chance wrecking there car in a trophy dash?

I enjoyed Jackson's all sprint show, good car count and good crowd. Wonder why it was not an ASCS show? Too expensive? Hope Mike Sitzman is OK and back racing soon.

Anyone besides me think I-90 should start a 305 sprint car class?

I miss LMSC at Husets and I don't really care for b mods.

Thanks for reading, hope I did not waste much of your time.

I-90 Speedway - sounds like a big joke especially with poor payoff, safety issues, sky high concession prices and late night shows. Since Lake County Speedway is closed, sounds like the owner has gotten a little more greedy.

Husets 410 class is booming so far this season. Dobmeier would probably lead the points, but he still struggles a little bit in time trials most of the time this season & if he didn't get together with Lambertz on the start of the feature race last Sunday, probably would have won.

It's nice to see Robbie Wolfgang racing Sprint Cars. And with Bret Mellenberndt racing winged sprints earlier this year. It would be neat to see Wolfgang & Mellenberndt racing in the 410's in a couple of years, just like when their dads competed against each other in the 1970's.

Fuel prices probably will remain high for a couple more years, until more people quit driving those gas guzzling SUV's Hummers & RV's around the country. When more people drive fuel economy vehicles.

Not a big fan of Nascar, but I liked watching them race Dirt Late Models @ Eldora Speedway the other night.

Rock Rapids racetrack - only time will tell (a couple of years) if that track will survive. I agree with you about getting rid of the trophy dash.

I-90 & Huset's should both start a 305 sprint car class. Huset's should get rid of both Hobby's & B-Mods & just run the 3 sprint car classes. I really don't care for either of those classes.
