looks like a killer show!!! feel stupid I let my girl and best friend talk me out of going. although I bet the wind SUCKED! 4 heats - a big B and a 20 car A. sounds great right? THEY DID THIS TWICE!!!!!!!

also heard they had 14 champs in a dry slick affair at BMS. Tidbits very own - jd2blsprint71 - had his car out there with Joe Wood Jr. doin' the elbow work. said they were 10th. didn't have time to ask for further results. Also said Gary Owens won Lawton - not sure how many cars they had. Anybody have any news and car counts from the ASCS2 show at I-44 Speedway Last Night?

With the price of fuel, a different RR tire rule, and a different muffler rule. That is the reasons why there were no OKC cars.

Come on Mike. Even before fuel and tires and mufflers, OKC guys just don't travel. Hell, most of them don't even race at SFS if it isn't a points show. But hey, they have a really cool jacket to wear.

well. some SFS sprinters made their way to MAS last weekend for the ASCS Sooner show. if not for them there wouldn't a been 13 sprints.

Joe Wood Jr. gets out and travels some - more than anyone else. Danny Jennings and Larry Neighbors used to. but even they head to the Bowl quite often. Peters runs all over. How about Kerry McAlister - he gtes out a lot. Koby Barksdale - hell he ran lots of Gulf South Shows last year.

It's not that reasonable to travel anymore. But it would be nice if someone could have and pull off a champ sprint nationals type of race - that pulled all the OKC area and Tulsa area sprints. man that would be cool. each area has a good # of champ sprints......................

There are several supers that travel to the Bowl on occasion, me being one also.
