Kurt met up with the top seeded Iowa Hawkeye, Brent Metcalf in tonights round. He put up a pretty good battle, but lost the match. Kurt will be wrestling in the consolation round tomorrow morning.

How far did Steve get in his wrestling career? I know he was Indiana state champion but did he do college?

He defeated Lehigh's Trevor Chinn 6-5 sudden victory in this mornings wresltle-backs then faced number eight seed Jake Patacsil of Purdue this afternoon. Kurt's chance for all american status in 2008 came up short in the 15-2 loss to Patacsil.
I see a bright future for this young man. Very close to placing in his "Redshirt Freshman" yr.
