Being from PA Posse land originally, I'm very impressed with this youngster. Seems to be really focused and drives the wheels off his hot rod. Real big factor at Port now. This kid is fun to watch and will make the PA Posse proud again. He seems to be getting better every week. and will win a big race in the near future. Maybe the Big money race at Port. Hoping he keeps it going. What do you all think about this youngster?

I was wondering how many 410 wins this 21 year old kid needed before he got his very own Hoseheads thread. He has gotten a lot better in the past year. He is doing everything right. About a year ago they switched crew chiefs and the new one is doing much better at mentally preparing this young kid to go out there and put it up against the fence at full speed. In April and May when tracks were closed he would attend practice sessions with other 410 drivers. He has gone on the road this year and gotten his butt kicked a little bit. He has also found some success on the road and qualified for both WoO shows at Knoxville in June.
I wouldn't crown him the Posse "leader" yet but that may be statistically accurate at this point. He is kinda awkward in interviews which makes them comical.
I've been looking forward to the WoO race at Port Royal since last year. Macri was reeling in Schatz but ran out of time and finished in 2nd place. I also look forward to seeing him at Knoxville next month because I think he is in the top 24 right now.
He is a nice kid. I ran in to him one time during an outdoor, somewhat dangerous, recreational activity and I challenged him to a race. He just laughed it off and said "no......I want to race this weekend...."
Go Macri !!

Watching the highlights from some of his latest races, I've been very impressed. Good car control, good car and not afraid to bang wheels up with the big guys. Great future ahead for him!

Agreed, good & getting better, but not "Posse Leader"
I like his interviews... unpretentious

Absurd to think that Anthony Macri is the leader of the Pa Posse when the dream team is together and having success. Yes, they had a DNF this past weekend and they don't run a full schedule, but Lance is a threat every time he is racing and it has pretty much been that way for a long time. With that being said, give Anthony his due as an up and coming driver and one that has made significant improvement (he is very impressive, but placing him over Lance, ridiculous). How many WIlliams Grove wins? How Many National Opens? How many Speedweek championships? How many Big Dollar Show Victories? As far as Lance goes, he has got these all covered and then some and he is still adding to these categories. Let Anthony progress and rack up some experiences, stats and years as a driver and then start thinking about his role as leader of the Pa Posse. If he continues to improve there is no doubt he could eventually be the ultimate threat out of Posse Land.

Lpjazz I agree with you on Lance . He still is the PA King and leader! I feel Macri is up and coming and his focus is strong. Would like to see our PA Posse get strong again and I feel this is bringing some life back to our beloved Posse brothers. This kid will race with the Big boys and make the shows. I hope its a new beginning in Posse land to make us stronger. Lets face it we have not feared to well against the Outlaws lateley. We need to show those Outlaw guys we are getting strong again. I like little Freddie too but he needs to take that next big step. Go Posse!

Since we got Floracing and Dirtvision, we have seen a bunch of races from PA. We are very impressed by Macri. I see he is entered in the 360 Nationals, so not afraid to travel, wish him well.

Oh god give me a break. Lance is not the leader when you only pick n choose, cherry pick and run part time.

I always thought you were a big Lincoln fan? How did Macri throw them under a bus?

From Macri's twitter.
"Overall a terrible night at Lincoln last night. Had some good moments but also had some terrible ones. Can't thank Lincoln enough for giving us an absolutely amazing racing surface. I loved 40 laps of rubber racing."

I've never been to Lincoln so I'm not sure how things like this work back east. Was he the only one racing on a rubber down track, and all the rest of the competitors had a different track to race on?

Macri's 1 of the top young guns in PA but you need at least 1 WOO win and a few regular show's at the grove before you can be crowned king of the posse.

Well, let's hear your pick for leader of the posse? It's very easy to disagree, but step up and put yourself out there. While your at it, tell us all how many races he has to run to be the Pa Posse leader. In my opinion, no team has the experience of the dream team or the resume that stacks up to them and it is not even close! I would venture to guess that the Outlaws and All Stars would feel Lance is the man to beat when they come to Central Pa.

Bump. Anthony Macri had a good weekend with two wins, one 2nd, and one 3rd place finish.
He seems to be a clean, smart driver. The only time I saw him lose his cool was Friday when he hit Rahmer after the feature and I understood his frustration. He has had some bad luck and has been hit by other drivers (Rahmer, Cisney, Dietrich) but still races clean from what I have seen.
I hope he does well at the Tuscarora 50. Good Luck Macri !

Port is rubbered up every single race.....the worst prepared track in PA week in and week out. It is nothing more than a asphalt track at best. Razor Steve needs FIRED!!!!!
Did anyone catch that train in port royal yesterday?? Chugga...chugga.....choo....choo!!! I don't do excuses!!!
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!
