Heard it fell through. It's the rumor anyhow but not for sure. Wouldn't be surprised either way but would be extremely disappointed. SD deserves weekly 410 sprint cars back and Husets is a top notch track.

I so hope your right! Been awful quiet. Was hoping they would even have a special show there yet this year that I might try to attend.

Quiring and Brennan were gonna be pretty tight lipped about this until the deal is done.
I would expect some announcements in about 10 days.

Didn't they announce on June 15 that there would be a 30 day period before they signed the deal?
With the recent changed to the All Star schedule, where they moved a race from Jackson and have the Aug 2 date open, I always wondered whether that date could go to Husets if the deal went through.

It did not fall through. Details being worked on now. Do not expect a weekly 410 show. Most likely Hobbies, Street Stocks, B-Mods and 305's. Working on two specials shows yet for 2020.

Drove by on Monday and the south gate was open. Looked like a couple of vehicles sitting by the buiding at the top of the hill. So there was some activity. Didn't look like the track had been touched by a blade yet this year.
Thanx,

Have the World of Outlaws on Sunday August 23rd, after the 2 nights of racing in North Dakota.
The race @ Huron, SD was cancelled for that weekend.

Tod could do it. Bring most of his staff from Jackson and hire a few locals. WoO may
be looking for states that remain open.

I know I am getting ahead of myself here but a 2 day weekend show to take over one of the 4 weekends they cancelled due to Covid makes some sense. I'm sure the WoO could help promote.

I'm ecstatic that racing is coming back to my hometown track. But that weekly lineup of hobbies, b mods, LMSS and 305's doesn't overly impress me, bring the 3000 to win 360's from Jackson at least.....

I don't think we will have to suffer thru b mods. I would guess hobbies, lmss, 305's, 360's, 410's and late models. Alternaiting classes whenever those classes are not scheduled elsewhere. Tod is the track owner us locals have dreamed of for the last couple years. Please support the track and do not spread any negativity.

I had not heard of this track until just before its demise. It may have actually been shortly after it was closed that it came to my attention and after researching it on Google and the stuff shared here I was kind of disappointed I hadn't had a chance to go there at least once. Now it's back on the possibility list. I know it will be a new era and the history wont hang in the air as it had prior to Chuck's involvement but I do hope the outlaws make a huset, grand forks west fsrgo or minot loop that will give me 3 or 4 races in a short period of time and a chance to get a husets t shirt. Thanks Tod. I dont know you but I like you.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I know that I'm jumping way ahead on this, BUT just think of the possibilities - Tod and Knoxville seem to work pretty good together, this could be a awesome opportunity for the everyone involved. Heck maybe even a Series Championship for the 3 tracks.
But let's not get to far ahead of Ourselves until the contract is signed and We see it offically posted.
GOOD LUCK TOD
