What is your best guess on whether Reutzel and or Schatz repeat as champions in their series.
I honestly thought Schatz would have come together more than he did and have a substantial lead over Sweet but the close race keeps it interesting. Will the Woo decide the winner on the last night in Charolette? I am just as interested to see if Gravel can get to within 100 points or less of the winner, kind of a race outside of the championship race.
In the ASCOC, a bit different story for me, with Blaney and Reutzel either finishing great or terrible with little in between for either, I thought one or the other would have developed a bit more consistency and ran away with it. (maybe Reutzell got enough of that consistency this past wekeend, better late than never). Almost need a disaster for Reutzel to loose it but he has been known to finish last.
I think they both repeat.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Yeah I agree they both repeat. The 87 is clearly the class of the All Stars this year. And I think Schatz repeats for one reason.....Central PA. Sweet straight up sucks in Pennsylvania. I predict that's where the seperation will come from.

Good analysis. Brad needs to stay close to Danny at WG.
Charlotte also could be a wildcard as the field is deep there. On a normal night for the Outlaws, one of those guys could have a bad night and still finish 10th or 15th. At Charlotte (or Eldora) a bad night might be 20th or even having to take a provisional to get into the feature.

I am holding out hope on Sweet for the Outlaws but as Turn4guy said, Sweet's track record in PA is not that good or at least as good as Schatz. They have made gains but we will see if it is enough. Past couple of years seems like the competitiion keeps getting better and better with Sweet continuing to improve along with Gravel & Schuchart.
All Star wise, I'd say it will be Reutzel.

Give me Sweet. I've been to Charlotte every year since 2010 and I can't wait to see a point battle come down to the wire again.

Sweet has won at Port Royal, and got 3rd at the Grove the last time they were there.
My money is on Donny, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Sweet came out on top.

I agree. Spot on. If you really think about it, Central PA results often times go a long way in deciding the champion especially in a close race like this one has been.

Yeah now that I think about it, Sweet has improved a little bit in Pa recently. I actually hope he does come in here and run well. Maybe even win one of the Port shows. How cool would it be if the 15 and 49 were within a few points of each other headed to Charlotte and we had a battle for the title in the last race? I cant remember the last time that happened. Maybe the Jason Meyers days?

Let's just be happy there's a points battle in the WoO that might go down to the final race! Seems like Donny always has 150 or 200 points on someone. I expect Donny to repeat. Brad has more wins, but Donny has been slightly more consistent with good finishes. I'd love to see Brad win it though, although I like both of them.

Last night was definitely a move towards repeating for both.
