I was at the OutLaw race and saw that only 5 cars showed up for the Civil War series(Calif). What the hell happened to the car count, they use to get 40+ cars for a Civil War race.

Weather. I was 70 miles away and it was raining most of the day. The weather radar showed rain over the track. I wanted to run that race but I couldn't believe that they would get it in, and with my yard being a swamp I wasn't too sure my trailer would get back in if I went. In hindsight I'm kicking myself, but any team west of 99 was getting rained on hard and seeing a very bad forecast. On the flip side, Dennis Gage gained a ton of street cred getting it in, and from now on, if ge says he's racing I'll make the tow.

Da fuck? I live in Chico and had the day off yesterday so was outside for most of it. I can't speak for other areas of the state of California but it was a beautiful day up here with blue skys and perfect temperatures. The kind of weather a race promoter DREAMS about especially in March. If you were basing your decision to come up here to race based only on the weather forcast you woud have been here because there was zero chance of rain anywhere near Chico all day yesterday.

This was the Civil War race on the 9th. And all day long the forecast said 80-90 % chance of rain. Yesterday was perfect, I agree, and today also.
