With the All Stars now being sponsored by Ollies lets hope that Pa. gets a few more shows maybe even a bigger paying at the Grove ,Ollies also near Selinsgrove I believe
Not sure what the roster will look like with Macedo now with Outlaws, Kemenaugh without a ride and Rueitzel maybe running open schedule.
Also lets pray that Jan Mcmahon can win her current battle.

Glad to see All Stars continue with a Title Sponsor.
Not to nitpick (okay I guess I AM nitpicking), being in Marketing/Communications I always *facepalm* when I see a similar thang where they announce a new Title sponsor, but their social pages, website, etc. still show the old Title Sponsor, colors, etc. Yes I realize this is for the 2019 season, but to me as a marketer (in this case if I'm Ollie's) I'm saying we're the Title sponsor the second it's announced so make sure the new logo, colors, etc. are plastered all over all the official digital and other channels of the organization. Again I don't mean to bring this subject down, just venting. It doesn't matter in the sceme of things and the important thing is ASCOC continues with a title sponsor.

Maybe Stewart offers more bang for the buck or Kahne asks for too much money. Hard to say.

Maybe the old sponsor has a contract through the end of the year?

Murphy is exactly right, our contract with Arctic Cat runs through the end of the year. We plan on honoring that.

Thanks Blake and Murphy. I kind of figured that was likely and should've added that in my post so that's on me. As I said glad ASCOC has a title sponsor.

Hopefully the AScoC will increase their purse with Ollies coming on board.
Hopefully ArticCat still remain an associate sponsor...

I could be wrong but in my experience the tour does not pay any meaningful part of the purse. Ollie's coming on board would be more likely to have an effect on the point fund, it's usually the track who pays each races purse along with a sanction fee to the ASCOC. Since Ollie's becoming a sponsor really does not benefit each track any more than Arctic Cat did I would expect a purse increase to occur as a result of the new sponsor.

Correct. Our points fund went up $80k this year, Ohio Sprint Speedweek points fund went up a substantial amount and we had a points fund for our members in FL. Sponsorship helps offset those costs (tony also paid for a good chunk of that, not sure many realize that).

Thanks Blake for all the input when I said about bigger paying shows I was mainly refering to the Grove I know they had twin 20 races this year but $5000 to win is not that much more than a weekly race and only 1/2 what they pay for the Mitch Smith race it would be nice if they had a big show the night before Selinsgrove that would make for a supper weekend.
Wonder what Ollies being with the All Stars will mean to the Dirt Classic at Lincoln All Stars usually at Eldora that weekend?
With Kasey scalling back will their be a Dirt Classic?

Honor a binding contract that expires 12/31/2018 okay that is "honorable".......
however, it can be argued the all-star Brass were less than honorable with their former race director......
one can also argue the hypocrisy of some who threaten the WoO about taking anymore of his race teams
sponsors for their title sponsor.

Well stated Run WYB....
I'm guessing the ASCoC "Brass" that made the race director decision, also rarely attends ASCoC shows and surely never drove a sprint car. Perhaps the former Race Director should've removed his blue-collared shirt and replaced it with a more "pleasing to the eye" golf shirt? He may still have the position....
I wonder how long this thread will stay on before it gets removed?

The new race director is the same guy who used to be the flagman at Port Royal until the night he threw a fit because of recieving some criticism and walked off the job before the race was over. Hope this works out a little better than the flagging gig did.

Everone is entiled to their opinion. It's a business. Like every business I know of, there is Employee turnover. I'm sure the "Brass" you speak of does what he/she feels is best for the business at the time.
As a long time business owner, every decision I make I feel is the best option for my company to be more sucessful.
