Below is a link about a great article from the Star Tribune newspaper in Minneapolis/St. Paul showcasing the Jackson Motorplex and the improvements Tod and Doug have made in Jackson, Minnesota!! Nice article!!! Very proud to call it my home track!!!

Nice Article. I liked this comment:
As an old time motorsports fan (61 years old), they need to have the drivers texting during the race and points are awarded for accuracy in spelling and grammar. That might will over some younger fans.
I'll add that they would also need a GPS to tell them exactly where to turn left.

Sounds very similiar to the plight of my home track(Selinsgrove) with 360's and 20 car fields. They've finally moved the pits outside which was a great improvement. I hope the next step is to do like Jackson and make the track a little smaller.

The writer, Patrick Reusse, is a long time stick and ball sports writer for the Minneapolis paper. I used to listen to Pat and Joe Soucheray on their "Garage Logic" show on AM 1500 where they'd joke about cylinder index aka how many cylinders total in all vehicles, mowers and power tools people had. I never heard him mention dirt track or Sprint Car racing so I was surprised to see this. We haven't had a mainstream sports writer cover racing up here since Don Reilly in the St. Paul paper in the 60s and 70s. Very cool, my manager gave me his paper so I have a copy.
