Or should I be closer to Williams Grove...
7-4 Port royal
7-5 Hagerstown
7-6 The Grove
7-7 Port Royal
7-8 Selinsgrove
Next year I will do the first half of the schedule!!!
Of all of the above which is your favorite and why??
thanks to all...
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

Planning on retiring to Carlisle in a few years, so for the heck of it, I recently checked driving distances from Carlisle to all of the Central PA tracks, including all on your list. Every track was less than one hour (60 miles) except for Selinsgrove and Hagerstown, which were a little over an hour. Of course, Williams Grove will be the closest.
I'm driving in for the 4 PA USAC Eastern Storm races next week, and am basing myself out of Carlisle.

Carlisle makes sense. You can’t go wrong with mechanicsburg either, but that makes the haul to Hagerstown a little longer.

I always stay in Carlisle, Cheap hotels & breakfast at Iron Skillet which still has PINBALL MACHINES! (for us old timer juvenile delinquents) To get to the Grove, save the annoying toll on Pa. Pike & take Middlesex Rd. east from Harrisburg Pike, stressfree, relaxed drive thru pretty countryside, maybe 20 minutes or less? One of the many Pa. backs roads where I suspect the song "The Bear Went Over the mountain" was written. ......keep going thru Dillsburg for beautiful back road to BAPS (AKA Susky)

I can't stand Hagerstown, my only visit there was a painfully slow huggy bottom "follow the leader" affair. (plus my 1960s dirt track hero had a career ending injury there) You're missing Path Valley, a countrified bullring, one of my faves. PR, WG & Selinsgrove are big & fast, intense fans at WG are fun (for me...) Lincoln & Grandview are smaller & sometimes more competitive.
But you'll have fun either way!

Ha! The PA State Police would have to have a command post next door with several paddywagons to control you hoodlums!
