Should be great weekend in Pa with 20 Allstars on the roster lets hope all make the trip Any news on Saldana and McMahan they were both still with the Outlaws in Arizona Also its been a long time since the Gearte 3G has been in Pa.
Ryan Smith should also be out with 75 degree temp predicted and with Tim Scheaffer off the Outlaws he cold also be in,now if only Dale could get a ride for Pa.shows.
Wonder if Tony will race he has been running mostly 360 races.

The All-Stars themself announced Saldana and McMahon, so that means they've had to give the tour some kind of commitment. The all-stars canceled almost a week in advance which gave Saldana and McMahon plenty of time to go to Arizona

Saldana said in an interview yesterday on Sprint Car Unlimited that his team will follow a true outlaw schedule in 2018. He will not be a regular with either the WoO's or All Stars.

I was surprised to read the comments on here without seeing cubic dollar pounding his chest about the All-stars never winning at the grove. This is the best shot they’ve had.

That record is just as much luck as it is a testament to how tough it is to beat our guys on the paperclip. Think about how many drivers who have won races Williams Grove as regulars or WoO members who have followed the tour over the years. Keith Kauffman is a 2 time Williams Grove champion and owns 51 wins there yet could never score a victory when he was a fulltime All Star. Kenny Jacobs is another that comes to mind. He owns about a dozen wins at Williams Grove (13 I think?) and spent much of his career on the ASCoC tour yet never won an All Star show as a member of the series. Jeff Shepard comes to mind as well. Then guys like Saldana, Tim Shaffer & Paul McMahan who won WoO races there yet never one as an All Star. I agree, this year is the best chance they've had in quite awhile so we may see the streak finally get broken. I'd still stack the odds in favor of the regulars but they should have their hands full. Totally different series than it was just a few years ago.

I did not here the interview but the above post says hes running a true Outlaw schedule guess we will have to wait till tomarrow.
Maybe the second place last week gave him a change of heart ,his original plan was a True Outlaw schedule then he used provisionals with the Outlaws and is listed on the All Star roster of 20.

Right, he signed as a platinum member to get WoO provsionals through the west coast swing. Running a full time All-star schedule allows you to run all the big money shows: mansfield, ohio speedweek, kings royal, jackson nat'ls, knoxville nat'ls. Dont see why he would go off tour and lose tow money. As tough as the ASCoC will be this year he's likely to win more races with ASCoC vs WoO.
EDIT: Ahh I see the post about the interview now... Still doesn't make any sense to me. All-star schedule allows their teams to run and even co-sanctions most of the big money shows.

Joey Saldana - Rudeen Racing - No. 26
Once again, the “Brownsburg Bullet” Joey Saldana is a full-time All Star, but this time in control of the Washington-based, Rudeen Racing No. 26. Spending a number of seasons as a full-time All Star before making the transition to World of Outlaws competition, Saldana is one of the most accomplished All Stars in Series history, earning 74 victories across 33 different facilities, first finding victory lane in 1992. In addition to his impressive collection of victories, the Brownsburg, Ind., native also owns a pair of Ohio Sprint Speedweek presented by Cometic Gasket championships; the first in 1997 and again in 1999.

He said in the interview that he wants to be able to run on the west coast for their bigger shows to support Kevin Rudeen who is from the state of Washington and also run a few 360 shows, therefore making it impossible to commit full time to the All Stars. In fact, he said Rudeen committed to both the WoO and All Stars at the beginning of the year so he could race in Florida......straight from Joey's mouth.......

Correct. One of the reasons I got Joey on the show was to talk about his recent success, plans and how his season was going to shake out. Joey is always a good interview.

Is he still confirmed running the full ASCoC schedule and is this the ride he is doing it in?
