What does everybody else pay for a WoO show in your neck of the woods? Cedar Lake was 30 this year and it has been that way for a long time. I noticed the info below on the Hoseheads/WoO page and I had to read it again. 44 bucks minimum for a ticket tonight??? Not even if I lived across the street.....
On Saturday, October 20 at Perris Auto Speedway, adult general admission tickets will be $44, with general admission tickets for children 12-under $25. Adult reserved tickers in the lower grandstand will be $44, with reserved tickets for children 12-under in the lower grandstand $25. Adult reserved tickets in the middle grandstand will be $46, with reserved tickets for children 12-under in the middle grandstand $26. Adult reserved tickets in the upper grandstand will be $48 with reserved tickets for children 12-under in the upper grandstand $30. Adult reserved tickets in the upper grandstand with seat backs will be $55, with reserved tickets in the upper grandstand for children 12-under with seat backs $33. Capitalism at its finest. Some will go, some will not. Personally, I wouldn't go to a pavement race if the tickets and the refreshments were free and it was across the street. (which in my case the track is 10 minutes away and a "comp" ticket and the freebies were included.) I have paid up to $38.00 for a WoO ticket, yes I wished the ticket was cheaper but I balanced the value vs. excitement and didn't regret spending the $$$.

The June 9th show at Eagle was $30 in advance, $35 day of show. The September show was the same if I remember correctly.
When you consider that for most folks in most areas this is a once a year show, that's not all that bad (even at $44 or even $50). We budget so that we can see the things that we want.
It's been said innumerable times: "What does it cost to see a MLB game, or and NFL or NHL game?".
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

We pay $47 for the Gold Cup and it's worth every penny. I think Tulare is around $40.

I would bet you will find a lot of things cost more in California than Wisconsin, not just sprint car race tickets.
