Interesting. Doesn't neccessarily hurt the Outlaws with losing a team but helps the All Stars. PPM is a solid up and coming talent and should be able to challenge for some wins.

All-stars should be extremely fun this year. I still think Kemenah/Reutzal are the favorites but PPM will be a threat to win every show

I agree it doesn't hurt the Outlaws-----car is not good enough to win there.
Hopefully, with some young talent, they can get that car running and competing. I was at Wilmot last year when Paul had it qualified up front and it was as fast as I've ever seen it. But, it faded fast after the A started.
The All-Stars are a better spot for that car right now. Good luck to them though

That puts us at 13 All Star followers this year. I have not seen firm confirmation of any other teams or drivers. But I could have missed a few. A strong lineup. Who am I missing?
Chad Kemenah
Dave Blaney
Tyler Esh
Aaron Ruetzel
Jac Haudenschild
Aryton Olsen
Max McGee
Max Stambaugh
Caleb Helms
Carl Bowser
Caleb Conley
Trevor Baker

Are the Makinson boys not running with them this year? Also, thought I read something that said Dale Blaney was putting together a ride?
Agree on Joey Saldana - would love to see him run the All Stars this year.

The Mackison brothers are both running the all stars. Dale Blaney is not running the all stars but will be in the Coomer 21 around Ohio events and knoxville nats among other races.

Its a very smart move in my opinion. Like PPM says it gives them more time to travel around when not running with the All Stars. Pretty much can guarantee theyll be at Mansifled now with this anouncment. Plus cant hurt from a financial perspective when the team is based out ot Indiana and will mostly be running in the Ohio/PA area. Another thing that could have influenced the decision is that Paul McMahan will be running a lot of races in that same area this year with the Buch 13. Paul will basically almost be an All Star regular with the schedule they have planned.

Everybody has to find their own level. Being competitive with Allstars beats doing poorly vs. Outlaws... good luck & be safe!

Thank you. I didn't see anything on them and someone said they were not running. Do you know if Garvin is running again? If so, that would put the ASCoC at 16 followers and they said they would have 20. Who are we yet missing?

truth be known, behind the glitter and gold, running with the outlaws , WRG has thier favotites, too many marketing judgments that they like to shift thier weight with, im a long time Outlaws fan, but over the past few seasons have grown to judge them poorly.. not impressed anymore.

This became obvious with the Jason Johnson incident with getting his spot back after spinning in turn 1 just after the caution came out for a spun car on the front stretch. he was able to get his spot back. It clearly states in the rule book that any car who needs a push start during a caution period, that stop either on the racing surface or work area during a caution period, will rejoin the rear of the field, except for a blokked track situation, and at that point will be up to the decision of the officials what happens there. Also, any car involved in a yellow or red flag situation, including non involved cars, are required to restart behind cars of the same lap that stayed on the track. I tried to copy and paste it, but for some reason chrome will not let me. but in the rule book PDF online, it is Page 17 Lines I-L if you want to look for yourselves. I am not sure of any other incidents, as the first night of Vegas was the only outlaw show I attended or really watched all year, but it is definitely fishy.

I find the conspiracy theories to be somewhat humerous. I've seen this at all levels of racing, at the local track on Saturday night, in the stands in Knoxville in August, on TV on Sunday's, and it's never going to go the way 100% of the viewers want it to go.
I'm just going to go watch the races and enjoy the evening. Let the spectators spectate and officials officiate. Let the other drivers and teams question why someone did or didn't get their spot back. Doesn't have to be explained to me. Decisions are made.

Oh I totally agree. I will still continue to support and go to outlaw shows when they are around, and in my opinion, they have the best sprint car racing you can ask for, of course, depending on where you attend. Just somthing I noticed, and My car wasnt on the track so I do not have a dog in the fight, simply a semi intoxicated fan taking a note from the grand stands (hey, we were in Vegas, lol).
You are absolutely right when you say it happens everywhere, and it does, it is just not noticed as much on a local level as it is on a national level.

I agree there will always be a decision that is seemingly made apart from the rules. There are often unknown facts around the situatuon. Maybe mike hess called red and immediatley rebuted it with i mean yellow. I doubt that was the case but my point is as fans we dont know all the facts in every call. If it was an officials mistake JJ shouldnt be punished for it. With that said rules are in place and need to be enforced regardless of how popular a certain driver is. Credibility will birth more success than favoritism.
It is arguable that my local hockey team lost out of the playoffs because the coach benched the Canadian Goalie of the Year because the kids was late for the bus. The coach had rules and he enforced them and maybe it cost the team the series but I know everyone on the team tries to obey the rules and the coach didnt lose any respect from the players or community.
My opinion... Enforce the rules evenly.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I for one believe your assessment to be right on regarding Johnson. In fact, I believe Gravel stopped on the yellow and should have gone to the rear, also.
