Hopefully we'll see some WestCoast cars at Canyon on Feb 3rd. ?  Some tow money would entice them I bet.  Would be nice to get the Steve Stroud Memorial as a big event!

I'll throw the first $100 in the pot.  Who else?

Now there’s a man with integrity.  I am recycling cans to try and get my car ready to race, but I could do 50 for the longest tow if it helps the club.  The economics of racing these days are not what they were even a few years ago.  Its kind of difficult to explain that to a guy working hard to afford a night at the track with the family when clearly it looks like a bunch of rich boys and their toys out there, I guess my point is fan support has never been more critical to the survival of our sport.  If it helps the club provide a better fan experience we should try and use social media or any other platform to stimulate that.  Let’s be honest, are fans going to be as excited to come out to the track to see 10 cars race each other?  Probably not, but our club in the southwest has been hanging in there these last few years consistently producing 3 heats ometimes 4, and a quality feature.  I hope we can do that again for the fans this season, but every little bit helps both for the tracks and the racers alike.

Tow money, even 5-10 bucks is great. Hard luck funds were always awesome, speaking from experience of course.  And bringing a friend to the track with you really helps the economics of this thing make more sense.  Thanks to all the racers that get their stuff together and buy pit passes each week, not just the sprint car folks.  Everyone.  And thanks to the fans for coming out when there are always other things to do, especially folks like the gentlemen on this thread willing to support the cause directly.  You are all appreciated.

Have a great racing season all
