He'll finish out the year, but it's on Twitter and Yahoo. Hendricks hasn't named a new driver yet.

i believe that pittman will also be out of a ride at the end of the season,  one win this season probably doesn't pay the bills...don't feel to bad for kasey, millions in the bank and FK shock business will keep his "head above water!"  good luck Kasey.

Ascot was the greatest of all time..

West Capital wasn't half bad either..

Life is good...

I'm sad that it didn't work out for him. When he signed there I thought he would win a ton of races, especially after he won in junk that nobody else could do anything in (like the Petty car and the Red Bull car). It's so weird that ever since HMS has been a multi car team, there has always been at least one driver that seems to have the talent but just doesn't seem to be able to get going, even while the others are winning tons of races.

I agree....the costs associated with NASCAR are growing out of control.  The drivers released (so far) have been overpaid, high priced talent.  Their replacements are low cost journeymen or rookies. The trend will continue.

Did you guys see the story this week where Gray Gaulding was paying 2 million this year to run that shitbox for BK racing? He got "fired" because he missed some payments for his ride.

I think KKR will do just fine. I think your going to see him climb back in a sprint car and start enjoying racing again, much like TSR has done this year. He's going to have sponsorship and his shock business will keep him active.

Hendrick racing has driver issue's. Jr leaving, and me personally, i think he has rode on his dad's name forever. There's another guy in the 24 car that is doing the same thing today. He's close but as they say he hasn't got the cigar just yet. JJ yea i'd like to see him win another title just to say they did it. SO the 5 car will get another upstart and Hendrick will be the new Roush.

Absolutely correct.  Even though the Nascar TV deal is still relatively large, the economics of Nascar and salaries no longer makes sense.  For the most part, the salaries of drivers has been hush hush.  I think if they opened the books, you would see a very fast downward trend in driver's earnings.  Only gonna get worse and many of these veteran drivers are not going to be willing to take the cuts necessary to keep their jobs.

It is going to kinda go the way American manufacturing went about 15-20 years ago.  That is on its way back as well---but only after it was blown up and reconstructed.  Same will happen in Nascar.

As pretty as Kasey is, he will have a ride if he wants to continue dealing with the lunacy.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

I wouldn't deal with lunacy at work for a few extra bucks.  Gotta love what you do in that case.  For a few extra million?  I would deal with the lunacy.

BTW, Willie Kahne owns FK shocks, but yes, good luck Kasey.  He will be just fine!
