Every year we compare nights, but I think this is pretty equal. When you have Tim Shaffer, Nationals winner, Sammy, the dude, Jamie Ball, who won a prelim night last year, Ian Madsen leading in Knoxville cup points, and Matt Moro who's leading I believe in 360 points at Knoxville, plus a many others not mentioned.

Minor nitpick as I love just about everything about Knoxville, but not sure why they need to release qualifying njghts so early, especially when Hafertepe and others haven't registered yet.

My way of thinking is that they can give the drivers/teams an early heads up, and those that may have a conflicting schedule can switch. I believe that changing qualifying nights is available. I know in the past, drivers "scheduled" for one night actually ran the other. It's easier to post complete lists online rather than trying to notify each individually.

The races start next week on Thursday. It gives fans/customers an idea of who to expect on said night. 43 cars Thursday night. 39 Friday night. 82 360 sprint cars already pre-registered. People have posted before, "How many cars will be at ....... race? Knoxville is already telling you that info. I'm pretty sure Hafertepe Jr. will be there with $15,000 to win on the line.

Friday gets the edge for me, but as everyone says every year we compare which night at the 360 and 410 Nats is "tougher," etc. etc.  Still gotta beat the best to be the best.

Just updated my original post. The changes that I see are that Cody Ledger has moved from Friday night to Thursday night and Blake Hahn has filed an entry for Thursday night. 86 cars have entered as of today.

15H is probably waiting to see who is going to be doing the tech on the top three finishers, then he will make his decision......
