I've attended 22 Nationals and have found the seating extremely cramped on Saturday. Especially in the middle to upper rows on the front stretch. Recently I've sat in the bottom 15 rows but find the view not as good. I had heard a while back the racetrack was considering widened the seating, meaning not as many seats per row. Does any one know if this has happened yet. Thanks

I think notifications were ent out this year, but nothing changes until 2018 is my understanding.
They will look at the traditionallly bought 4 tickets sets and give them priority, but eliminate a few seats in each row and then widen out the remaining seats. My understanding is that the only way someone will get completely displaced is if the row is sold out every year at the initial offering. Under those conditions, someones going to have to move..
I could be completely off on this also, but that is my understanding..

Best seating in the country is a Napscar track, Pocono, a couple years ago, the family that owns the track spent considerable money widening all seating to 22". If you can't get your azz in 22", you need to buy two seats, sorrry about political incorrectness, but dats the way it is. Of course, the worse napscar track in the country too is that triangle at Pocono.
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

Yeah I hear you. If it's extremely hot the overcrowding becomes unbearable. I'll buy my usual single seat in the lower tier.

And then you get the guy who has a seat in a completely different section sitting with his buddies on Saturday night.

Easy fix, go get security and have their tickets checked and have them kicked out of the row (I've done it, pissed the guy off but too bad, he didn't pay to sit there).
