Perhaps, but it's probably too early to tell.

Curious why Larson would drive the 17 car instead of his own back up car.? Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't he own the 2? To me it would make sense to get your own name and sponsors out there instead of someone else's.
AND, If I own a car and Steve Kinser happens to be at the track looking for something to do, if he drives my car, who gets the winnings etc? If Larosn's winnings went to the 17 it makes even less sense to me.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Like Larson cares about the money. He would beat happily spank the outlaws for free. Plus someone implied he may have been testing the 17 for speed.

Ricky HIRED Kyle to run the 17 and as Brettco mentions it was more for testing purposes (the J&J specifically). This wasn't Kyle just wanting to do a mid-race week for fun (though I'm sure he saw it as having a blast). He most likely would've hopped in his 57 as he may do for a few of these Ohio Speedweek races. Ricky specifically hired him to run one of his 17 cars with a J&J.

Actually, I asked him about that when I interviewed him about the World of Outlaws race at Eagle last Tuesday.
Mr. Silva was extremely busy, so he could not get a car ready for Mr. Larson to run at Eagle Raceway. So, Mr. Larson made some calls and ended up in the 17(K).
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

Larson and Rico are Mr. excitrment in sprint cars. They are worth the price of admission. If it were not for NASCAR those 2 could be the Gary abd Larry. the Jan and Kenny, or the Steve and Sammy show.

Anybody know if he's running Waynesfield tomorrow? Giving some serious thoughts to making my first ever trip there.

Rico runs sprint cars all the time, doesn't dominate in any way compared to Larson. Sane with Bell. Larson is in a class by himself.

Someone asked him on Twitter about Waynesfield on Wednesday and he said "No headed West Wednesday." Unless that changes, looks like a no for Waynesfield. He did later say Waynesfield was his favorite track in OH.

Still might be worth the trip for ya. A LOT of drivers (at least on social media) seemed to be really happy they rescheduled as many of them commented it was their fav race/track of Speedweek.

Hoping that with NASCAR in Sonoma this weekend that we'll see Larson at Calistoga on Saturday night. Stewart and Stenhouse are already confirmed. $10,000 to win 360 race, headlined by a $3,000 to win 410 race.

I believe that he responded on his Twitter feed yesterday that his schedule won't allow him to run those races.
