Some observations: Getting the races completed by 10:30 was great for first night.THe veterans caused more problems than the rookies. The second 410 heat was loaded. When you start the two fastest cars on the front the feature is over. The two true outlaw cars & BWW#82 looked average. The announcement of 1/2 price concessions was nice and was during the 360 A-main seen lots of people carrying several slices of pizza. The $5 parking was a bit of a surprise but we are lucky to be able to watch the best for $15.The Dude was missing. The 410 field will probably be lucky to have 20 cars at weekly regular shows.I know why they want to be at Knoxville but the 305s would be much better on a shorter track. There is not a better rescue team or set of push trucks anywhere. As equal as the top 5 cars are in each division there will be several different winners and most will come from the front row.
