This is one of the biggest points nights of the season at LoneStar Speedway (LSS) with over $18,000 in cash being paid out to race teams - without any driver Entry Fees!
Trisha and Robert Taylor have stepped up to help raise awareness of the dangers of texting and driving, and also helping to increase the competitor purse in the LSS points divisions for this special night of racing.
On April 26, 2010 Trisha and Robert Taylor received the call that forever changed their lives, as their daughter Alex had been in an accident and was being taken by air flight to East Texas Medical Center, and would not survive her injuries. The accident was attributed to texting and driving.
Robert is veteran LoneStar Speedway driver, along with his wife Trisha, continue to help raise awareness of the dangers of texting and driving, at their Facebook page titled For the Love of Alex Stop Texting and Driving.

FACTORY STOCK FEATURE - 20 LAPS: $1,300-500-400-300-200-180-160-140-120-100-80...to start! $20 to any NQ or Non-Starter. Transponders NOT required for Factory Stocks until June; but drivers are urged to get them ordered ASAP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, car number, division, preference (hard-wired or rechargeable). FWD 4-CYLINDERS: $150 - $120 - $100 - $80 - $60 - $40 - $20...to 20th.
No outside food/drink coolers are allowed inside; a full selection of economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available.
Adult grandstand general admission (ages 12-64) to this massive event is just $15! Ages 6-11 are $5, while ages 65+ and military will be $12. All pit passes for all ages are $35. All tickets are sold at the ticket window on race day when you arrive.
Action fires off Saturday April 29th at 7PM. The Pit Gate will open by 3pm, while the main grandstand area will open by 5:30pm. The driver's draw cut-off for heat races is 6:15pm, with a driver's meeting set for 6:45pm. Track packing and Hot laps are slated for 7pm & racing to follow immediately.
