Just pony-up for suite tickets. You can bring all the coolers and food you want into those.

You can bring in empty coolers to keep the beer you purchase there cold, but really the beer and food prices are really reasonable.
They also have a small bar for mixed drinks. The food menu isn't huge but what they have is good. I'm not sure who will be on the west end concessions near the pit entrance but normally there's an outside business that sells their food too. Last year I believe it was Central College.
Just attend during $1 beer night, or take off running to Dingus during intermission.

empty soft sided coolers only. no plastic coolers and no carry-in alcohol. Only exception I've seen is for people with small kids that might have milk or juice since they don't sell that at the concession stand
I have never seen them stop anyone carrying in a water bottle or food though (weekly show or big events).

Why would anyone want to screw with their own cooler anyway? There is not that much room in seat areas to put a cooler, so why do it. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. This is not like major leage baseball and football where they want to rape the customers with way over priced food. Do not worry about this crap and go empty handed and have a good time.

we bring two with all the time, (with a party of four) we purchase a six pack at a time, set it by our feet and enjoy the races, respectfully not getting up to run off for another beer continueously interupting the event for others around us, besides, were there to watch the race, now, we like out beer too, but, were trained professionals, so, dont try this at home but, to answer the question of this post, soft sided cooler for a six pack only, I believe they are sold there too, we have bought several over the years i forget which came from where and when, the wait staff will gladly sell you a "sixer" of your choice of flavors/brands and gladly top off your purchase with ice, zip it closed for your walk back to your seats, all with a smile.. we hand them a $20 and off we go.. like clockwork.. dont forget a koozie the stands can be brutal hot in August!
