Was looking at the Woo schedule and noticed it's not there. What about the other days 360's midgets, USAC. I guess we will see when the other schedules come out?

Civil War facebook page shows 3-31 as a civil war date. Outlaws are at Hanford on 3-31>

The King of the West Series will be in action at Silver Dollar Speedway on March 4th for the Mini Gold Cup.

Should have left the second KWS date at the Tarter Memorial! Just more poor management at Chico. Not surprising!

The track and the Tarter family requested that race be a local SDS point show.

Assuming that tickets will cost about half as much as they would for a WoO show, I'm perfectly happy with this year's plan for the Mini. There's nothing else going on that weekend, so I expect Silver Dollar will get a solid field of West Coast cars. I don't need the Outlaws for a good weekend of racing.

I think I have been to the WoO portion of the Gold Cup only once in the last 5 years. But I always go on Wednesday and Thursday for the Civil War, nonwing cars and midgets because that racing is usually great. As far as I'm concerned, they could have a great Gold Cup without the outlaws. Trophy Cup is the best event of the year and it doesn't have the outlaws.
I don't hate the WoO. I'll go to a couple races this year. But the competition ain't what it used to be and the races can be kinda dull.
