First night was pretty good, last night, not so much....certainly hasn't lived up to the hype. Some impressive young talent racing there, CA with a leg up on PA as per usual....

First night was excellent, last night the track was beginnng to get racy as the main event ran the last 5 laps. Not living up to the hype??? Closest point race in 23 years!!
Kyle Hirst by 4 over a 3 way tie for 2nd (Golobic, Solwold, Allard) then a 3 way tie for 3rd (Becker, Kofoid, TK) and a tie for 4th (Eliason, Meyers). Tonight's invert 8 heats are huge, 36 points to win drop by 3. Tonight's main is 150 points with a drop by 3.
To review the tiebreaker procedures, the driver's better of the two qualifying times is used. That means Golobic has tiebreaker on the other 8 drivers in the top 4 list.
Next in order for tiebreaker after Golobic: Eliason, Becker, Solwold,Hirst, Allard, Kofoid, TK, Meyers. For example, Hirst has tiebreaker over the 4 names listed after him but the 4 names before Hirst have tiebreaker on him.

What's the benefit of winning a tie breaker? That means you now have to start behind someone you are tied in points with.

If there is a tie in final points, the qualifying time is used to break the tie. That could easily be $1000 or more. Tie for the champion means at least $4000. They are all in row 4 of a heat tonight. It is the main that what you wrote comes into play.

Could easily be Kyle Hurst year for overall cup championship. Myself, Tarlron duo of JA and Myers are picks. Hope they leave track alone tonite. Thursday had three grooves. Anyway, lets hope for a safe and exciting T cup sat. Good luck to all teams and drivers!
From central coast of Cali.
Peace, Out.
