Did he leave on his own or was he let go?  That ride sure eats up drivers..A kid from Winnipeg is running the 360 BBW car now but did Zomer drive both the 410 and 360 car?

Yes he drove both classes. Thomas Kennedy is the kid, Sammy drove 410 at Eldora. Leaving so many stories I'm not posting them.

Let the know it alls fire away but remember unless it comes from Dusty it is probably wrong.

sorry to tell you that if sammy shows anything in these next few races the seat is his for 2017 especially after the owner said it was always a dream of his to put sammy in his car..

Is that your opinion?  Or did Greg and/or dusty and/or Sammy tell you that?

it was time for a change for both sides, happens all the time in this game. no big deal, both parties will move on and be just fine. I'm sure dusty will find a quality ride.

The quote from the car owner means nothing to me.  drivers and owners say those things all the timE and then a year later everyone's pissed at everyone.    Your quote however says that if he has any succes he WILL be in the seat.  And I'm wondering where you came up with that?? Or If you're simply basing your "guess" on the quote from the car owner?

obviously you are a zomer fan and common sense would tell you that if he was still the driver he would be DRIVING the car not sammy..and furthermore comparing zomer which he may be a nice guy and all to sammy well there is no comparison..pretty sure when the owner makes a statement like he did about having sammy in the car spells the end for zomer..think you need to face the facts friend and move on

I don't think Greens original post about where you came about the information has anything to do with who he likes. He was asking if your source is credible or if this was you opinion.

Then it turns to " you must be a Zomer fan " ?  I think he is probably a sprint fan!  So instead of stirring the pot with your "sorry to tell you" smug reply, sometimes you're better off just letting things play out.

I gotta side with G18, sch and 3togo on this one. I don't think you know what you are talking about. Not that it can't happen, but I don't think it is a done deal as you indicate. The last I saw on the matter was that the #92 car owner would be making a decision about 2017 sometime in December. When he announced Sammy to finish the 2016 season he stated that Dusty had not been let go, and also stated that Dusty had not quit the team. He said the seat was Dusty's, until Dusty and his family stated otherwise. Now, if you can direct the rest of us to an article that states otherwise, please do so.

not that hard folks just google swindell joins forces with blazin racin and there are several links all to the same article..again i will end it at if zomer was the driver sammy would not be driving the car this weekend and and charlotte and anther driver who is a virtual unknown with the last name of kennedy i believe took over the 360 ride as well..sounds to me like the previous driver/zomer has been replaced just waiting on the formal announcement but for the zomer fans out there keep the dream alive i guess..

Let me re-phrase.....you're full of shit! There are several possibilities as to  why Dusty may have decided to sit out the remainder of the year, and probably only Dusty and the car owner know why. Secondly, Kennedy is not a virtual unknown simply because you don't know who he is. Maybe you should put your fingers to work on GOOGLE before you shoot your mouth off! The Kennedy's have a long history in sprint car racing. You may learn something!

Actually racecar drivers do sit out. And i know more than i will say but you boys are no where close to how the deal went down. I won't give details though that is between Dusty and Todd. Best of luck to Blazin Racing. But I don't see Sammy and that crew chief meshing for the long term.

Bingo! We have a winner. When the idea of having Sammy in the car meets reality it will end abruptly and the car owner will have that "wtf was I thinking?" moment that so many before him have.

Or he'll come to the realization that the crew chief should be changed as maybe it's not been the drivers that have been the issue all this time....

Oh it's never Sammy's fault! PLENTY of history to support that (sarcasm). I wonder why the longest time he has been in any ride is the one that he owned? Hmmmmmm
