Lot of people going to get bumped around and screwed out of seats they worked years to get. Took me a long time to get 4 on the aisle. Since mine are on the seat 35 end I am probably getting screwed.

Anybody have knowledge on how they will reseat?

Hello. I'm sorry you feel this way. Knoxville's seats were much narrower than the majority of sports stadiums and race tracks across the country. Due to high demand from our fans, we are making the move to a more standard size.

we understand that this means a loss of seating capacity and some fans will be moved. Our ticketing office is going to work very hard with all of you to make the change as seamless as possible. Luckily we have a year to do so.

Thank you, in advance, for your patience and understanding as we continue to improve our facility for everyone.

If you'd like to discuss further, please feel free to email me at [email protected]

How many seats are getting removed? I applaud the decision to widen the seats. It can get pretty uncomfortable there especially Saturday night.

Just like Napcar, less people are going with the largest crowd being only the last night. removing seats will spread em out so it looks fuller for sponsors and the like. With all the new entertainment options, gas prices, hotel, food costs...we loose more fans than we gain each year.

I tell it like I see it.

agreed!

It shouldn't be too hard to remove the middle of each row and keep everyone the same # of seats from the nearest aisle.

Gotta be one of the most idiotic posts of the year right there. They aren't removing seats. They are renumbering seats because 90% of the people that attend have widers butts than 16 inches. Thank you Kendra and Knoxville Raceway for tending to an issue that has been going on for decades!!

Good move Kendra and Knoxville... I know you'll work hard for your loyal return customers.  But I'm not a big guy and previously it could get pretty tight in the middle of a row. - thanks

Interesting.  I sat in an aisle seat for this year's Nationals and with everyone in the middle trying to spread out as best as they could, I essentially had an asscheek and a half in my seat.  The other half of my right thigh and lower leg just hung out in the aisle.  It wasn't too bad, I'm pretty low maintenance.

You mean I may not have to purchase an extra ticket to actually fit in my seats?

Been too long of a time coming IMO.

I have no issue with "reseating" or renumbering.  If I lose my aisle seat for the sake of more room I don't think I'm going to be too upset.

Same here.  It might save me a little money.  Lol.  Great move on Knoxville's part.  I just hope they go big enough.  I'm not sure what the standard is.  But almost everywhere you go that has bench seating has them to small.  Kind of like parking spaces.  Parking lots could remove one spot and spread the rest out a couple inches and make a nice difference.  Most lots, especially at stores, are never full anyway.

Good move ,this is the right move to give patrons more convenience and comfort .It's just a start , much more needs to be done at Knoxville along with other tracks .

We occupy 4 seats with 5 tickets, smack dap in the middle of section F.  Dont drink, and dont go out very often. Same with our neighbors besinde us, and a family group behind us..   Being in the middle is our choice..  Certainly not interested in an aisle seat for any reason, unless they make the family section for the Nationals also...

I don't see what all Knoxville is lacking myself.   You wanna see dirt tracks that need to do much more come to Texas....

Sensitive? Not at all.

Bewildered? Definitely.
