STAR-STUDDED FIELD IN KYLE LARSON’S OUTLAW KART SHOWCASE PRESENTED BY PARKERSTORE

CORNELIUS, N.C. (September 1, 2016) – More than 200 total entries have been received for the second annual Kyle Larson’s Outlaw Kart Showcase Presented by ParkerStore on Monday and Tuesday, September 5 and 6 at Cycleland Speedway in Chico, Calif.

The entry list in the Open Division, now at 136, is a who’s who of NASCAR, sprint car, midget, and outlaw kart racers. The complete roster for all three divisions – Box Stock, 250 Intermediate and Open -- boasts drivers from 15 states, ranging in age from 7 to 60, all competing for more than  $30,000 in prize money.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series winner Larson will again compete, along with Camping World Truck Series rookie contender Rico Abreu. The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series is represented by Jac Haudenschild, Brad Sweet, David Gravel, and Paul McMahan. The entire Keith Kunz USAC midget team of Tanner Thorson, Carson Macedo, Spencer Bayston, Holly Shelton, and Ryan Robinson will also be in action.

Defending Showcase Champion Colby Copeland will lead the Northern California sprint car contingent of Sean Becker, Mason Moore, Shane Golobic, and Cory Eliason. Outlaw kart contenders include Cycleland Speedway point leader Tanner Carrick, Jodie Robinson, Morgan Sandhagen, and Daniel Becker.   

The race will air live on FastFourMedia.com starting at 7 p.m., ET on Tuesday. Pay-per-view coverage will also feature Monday's Prelude to the Showcase, which will also start at 7 p.m., ET. The live pay-per-view video will be offered at a discounted cost of $40 if the two-day package is purchased prior to 8:59 p.m., ET on September 3. If purchased after that time, the cost will be $20 for Monday’s race and $25 for Tuesday’s race.

General admission and pit gates will open at 2 p.m., local time, both days. General admission prices for each day are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Pit passes are $30 each day. Hot laps will start at 5 p.m., local time. The Prelude is a stand-alone event for the Open Division and has a $30 entry fee at the pit gate for competitors.
