Not trying to start a pissing match but did Tyler fall off the wagon or was it really car trouble. I thought maybe he was going to beat this demon but maybe he didn't. Is there facts stating he was using again.

Maybe you already heard this but he did thank Peter Murphy on Facebook for jumpstarting his car once, but apparently his alternator was shot causing numerous shut downs. I doubt Tyler would drop Peter Murphy's name if it wasn't true. Unfortunately for Tyler, the benefit of the doubt isn't given.

T. Walker i am sure is on strict probation. He would have to be a complete fool to break it. Most of you have no idea how hard it is to break addiction. The persons mind is really screwed up with reality. Most addicts fail on first attempts to quit. It may take 3-5 times. I really hope Tyler has done it but the temiation is always there. You have to be able to control it. Give Tyler a break, it could be your child.

I would think it would be very very high risk for him to go back to the track and everybody standing around with a cold one in their hand. A person who isnt very strong in their recovery puts themselves in a bad bad spot when people around them is getting messed up. After the races in the pits the beers alway start coming out of the coolers.

Yea, I am sure a gun was held to his head the first time he did cocaine. Or maybe he thought it was fruit? Either way, yea, no way to blame him for his actions. Obviously.

I have friends with addictions. I would never let one of them drive my car nor would I be near them when they are driving.
You can support an addict without letting him drive a racecar. They don't go hand in hand.

So know one knows for sure that he is back on drugs. I can see why everyone thinks that but I'm hoping not. I will wait for the facts . He's been clean for over 2 years so I will give him the benefit of the doubt until I know for sure. Just maybe he turned his life around

Please...His truck broke down and he could not find another ride to Watsonville. From the sounds of it the 3C team was not buying his story and was left hanging. They even had someone Hot Lap the Car in hopes that Tyler Baby would show up. It sure seems he would have ample time to get to the track assuming he was in any condition to drive. It is a sad deal, and addiction is a horrible thing but quit making excuses for him. There is no place on a race track for anyone who is impaired in any way. Like most people in life Tyler makes life style choices of which he needs to own and if the choices preclude him from driving a Sprint Car so be it. It is his life.

So you were there and saw him inebriated or high? Or are you just just making shit up to fit your narrative?

Never even implied I was there, nor am I making shit up, I was just pointing out that I seriously doubt that a Broken down truck was not the real reason he could not get to track. Come On man, he has no friends to call, he does not have a cell phone to let the team know he will be a no-show etc., Just does not add up if you think about it with an open mind. Take the blinders off and deal with reality rather than what you would like to beleive.

Who knows what exactely happened but it seems that you are indeed making many implications. Do you know that he didn't call the team to tell them he was stuck? I'll bet he did. Do you know that his vehicle didn't break down? He said his alternator failed and that Peter Murphy jump started him. Did you ask Peter Murphy if the story holds water? Are you keeping an open mind? Seems like an awful lot of assumptions on your part to be talking about reality.

You would be correct. I guess I am making a lot of assumptions, which are better left unsaid without the facts. Does not mean however that I still don't still harbor the same suspicions.

I'll agree with you on that, one can't help but be a little suspicious.

Doesn't everyone have a cell phone these days, including TW and crew members for the 3-C team? So Peter Murphy helped him once get restarted. One would think the second time his Caddy failed, he would have phoned someone. Doesn't he have friends that would have picked him up and driven him to the track? What about a Taxi cab or Uber? If I had a job and for him, isn't racing his job, and and company owner and other employees (the crew) depended on me being there on time, I would have found a way to MAKE IT HAPPEN! Why not TW?
