I get it how a moment of silence shows respect. Personally  I think a huge giant finale round of cheers would be better honor to those lost in racing. The racers love creating excitement and hearing the cheers some evening love hearing the boos. I know I will miss cheering for the racers how have passed

In recent hours we all have read the great memories which often talk about always smiling and having great time. I j7st think a huge roar of cheers and applause like they just won the nationals for the first time would be more healing than silence.

I like the idea.  It would be awesome for 50000 fans to go nuts at Knoxville Saturday night watching a last lap pass of Clausons on the big screen.

As I remember it use to be a moment of silence , then the cheer's of joy would rage out in honnor of the person, and this was for car owners , driver's , even fan's that got mention because of there donations to tracks , cars , driver's winners $$ , and were just seen around the world as race people.

30,000 would be more like it, even that might be a stretch and I like the idea of any BC pass on the big screen to cheer for....

Why be a smart ass? You get the point. Knoxville does hold 30,000 between suites and stands..still a lot of people and it would be bad ass for them to all stand up for BC. He was just throwing out a number to get his point across..sheesh.

I like (love) how the Chicago Blackawk fans show their support for the United States of America and the people that protect us. That organ starts playing the National Anthem and everyone is standing and cheering.  Some people HATE it, but those are the ones without a clue as to what it stands for.  It started during Desert Storm.  Maybe it will catch on at some point....
