Wingless Sprint Series Willamette Bound On August 6th
By Ben Deatherage
Lebanon, Oregon- The Wingless Sprint Series will finally make its debut at Willamette Speedway on Saturday, August 6th. They were supposed to be in action on June 18th but the weather would not cooperate. Some extremely fast cars from the Pacific Northwest will be competing at the historic 1/3-mile clay oval.
Already this season there has been a decent size list of different winners with the WSS. Rob Lindsey is still the only driver to have won more than once this year. Lindsey has two victories while Lance Hallmark, Cooper Desbiens, Gary Lynch, Kyle Miller, and most recently Wayne Van Raden have all emerged triumphantly.
Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths $5.00, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. Front Gates open at 3:30 PM and Racing kicks off at 6:30.
