So they were already physically in Grand Forks for the WoO in the early afternoon today, but then made the decision to head to Jackson, Mn (375 miles or 6 hours) to race because the pit area was a little soggy in Grand Forks.  The WoO are for sure going to race but the radar shows big storms headed towards Jackson.  Why would they leave Grand Forks to go race for less money?

Maybe they'd make more money depending on where they place.

This.  Also I looked at the forcast for Jackson, if they do get hit by a stom it's only slated to last a short time.

Madsen was actually in Fargo and I'm sure the Lunstra team never left the shop outside of Brandon.

So, yah, they weren't physically ever in Grand Forks today.

Just a guess, but I would think in their opinion there was going to be a better chance of getting the race in at Jackson and that Grand Forks stood a good chance of being Cancelled ???
