Duh, he's just going to say Donny won because of his "posse" crew chief.

Cubic will surely be (after he sobers up) furiously thumbing thru his well tattered book of posse excuses for losing to the WoO. LOL

Dietrich and Marks were faster at the end. Hats off to Ricky Warner.

I still can't believe the 48 didnt catch the 15. Going to the top in 3 & 4 seemed to hurt him.

Always the bridesmaids, never the bride. Not even the maid of honor, but the real trashy bridesmaid getting bent over the hood of a car by a groomsman out in the parking lot of the VFW hall.

Donny Schatz didn't outrun anyone. A good redraw and terrible track conditions gave him the win.

How did he get in the redraw?

The track was awesome for the feature. There was a lot of passing going on. He was fortunate it went Green to Checker.

Donny ran well all night. He qualified well, put himself in good position and capitalized on it. That's the goal of every single team who pulls into the pits. Dietrich was better at the end but made too many mistakes to give himself a good shot at Donny. The track was shit early in the night but it was really racey in the feature after they watered the top. Spin it any way you want, Donny was the best last night and he parked it on the frontstretch.

pathetic 16 second lap conditions...it was so bad that I left after the Dash to buy a mower...

if you want to know who can prepare a track that will provide entertainment value for your fan dollar?

I must say I did receive some satisfaction as a fan last night...the girls working the ice cream stand in turn 1 acted more like they "care" than the track crew...they ran out of black raspberry, apologized and agreed the need to stock 2 buckets going forward.

if you are offended by the phrase "going forward" dont look at the feature results...Donny Shcatz passed more cars with the dash pill draw than any other outlaw...except for the 41 car.

before someone loses their mind, when you pay $30 and the highlight of the night is kind customer service for dish of chocolate ice cream, I feel the obligation to give the ice cream girls credit.

hats off to the greatest show on dust...16 second laps on a 4/10 track gives the announcer more syllables per lap than the action on the track deserves.

If qualifying 21st is well sure puts a whole new meaning to the word. All about the draws last night for a much better starting position. Yes he won a heat off the front, they all were won by the pole sitter as well as the dash & feature. Lack luster track conditions made very little passing all night except for about 4 cars who could run what little top there was a few laps. Only 2 drivers that I witnessed used it to the utmost advantage with success....

My bad 15th in time trials. Still all about the draw and still a shitty track!!

He was actually 14th, which under the old format would have put him in the front row of his heat anyway.

The track was not ideal, but you still had to be decent to stay up front. Monteith went backwards in the B Main and didn't qualify, Saldana went way back in the A main. There was passing if you were better than the car in front of you.

Had DD passed Schatz on the last lap, we'd be hearing about how great the race was, but since he didn't, we get the usual "Outlaws suck" argument from the usual parties.

Love some of the points here. Even when the Posse lose, they apparently still win. Makes perfect sense!

Slick tracks put on better races. Hammer down tracks create follow the leader freight trains IMO

In 2013 Schatz was faster than Dietrich in the end. DD blocked and chopped the 15 car for the last 10 laps but you seem to have forgotten about that.  Speakiing of lap times, last nights program looks remarkably similar to that race in 2013, beginning from time trials and looking at finishing spots from starting spots in both races.  Take a look for yourself.  Im pretty sure you didn't leave last night and I am positive you didn't leave back in 2013.  So, please explain to me how last night was different than 2013 and why it was so horrible?
