Thought I'd send out some more photos of the 94 progress. Since the last photos, I've added torsion bars, arms and stops, transmission and driveline and headers. I was able to put it on the ground yesterday so I could get some pics. Still working on getting the carburetors, intake and adapters fitted and welded. Am in the process of making the proper steering arms for the front spindles.
I still need some Airheart calipers, brake rotors and hats if anybody knows where I can find them. Also looking for a left front Nance steel knockoff and some 2 piece magnesium safety wheels (left rear and right rear).
This has been quite a restoration project as most of the parts needed to make the car authentic were missing. For example, I had to have the transmission specially built to be like the original one. It is a 1939 Chevrolet top shift tranny with 1955 Chevrolet transmission parts inside. It turned out very nice (see latest gallery). I still have a long way to go but am working steadily towards its finish. I hope to have it mostly done by the end of 2010 but a lot will depend on how soon I can get things made outside the shop.
